The Gospel was never meant to remain within the four walls of a church building. It is a message that must be carried into the streets, marketplaces, villages, and every place where people gather. This conviction continues to drive our mission as we take the Good News of Jesus Christ to communities across Northern Nigeria.
As part of our recent outreach, our team engaged in an open-air street evangelism campaign in a busy area where people from different backgrounds gather daily. For security reasons, we are withholding the exact location, but we thank God for granting us the opportunity to publicly proclaim the Gospel in a place where many had never stopped to hear the message of Christ.
One of the most significant moments of the outreach was preaching near a mosque. We approached the opportunity with humility, wisdom, and a sincere desire to share the love of Christ, not to provoke hostility or create unnecessary confrontation, but to faithfully proclaim the message of salvation.
As the Gospel was preached, people stopped to listen. Some stood at a distance, quietly observing. Others drew closer, curious about the message they were hearing. There were thoughtful conversations, sincere questions, and moments of deep reflection as we explained the hope, forgiveness, and eternal life that are found in Jesus Christ alone.
Our mission has always been centered on love. We did not gather to condemn people or attack their beliefs. Instead, we came with the conviction that every person, regardless of background or religion, deserves the opportunity to hear the Gospel and make an informed response to the invitation of Christ.
Throughout the outreach, our team distributed Gospel materials, prayed for individuals who requested prayer, encouraged those who were burdened by life’s challenges, and shared personal testimonies of God’s transforming power. We witnessed hearts becoming more receptive as conversations unfolded with grace and respect.
Street evangelism requires courage. It often means standing in public places where opinions differ and where rejection is a real possibility. Yet Scripture reminds us that the Gospel itself is the power of God unto salvation. Our responsibility is simply to proclaim Christ faithfully and lovingly, trusting the Holy Spirit to work in the hearts of those who hear.
This outreach also reminded us that boldness must always be accompanied by compassion. True evangelism is not about winning debates or proving ourselves right, it is about pointing people to the Savior who gave His life for the world. Every conversation, every smile, every prayer offered, and every Gospel tract shared became another opportunity to demonstrate the love of God in practical ways.
We left the streets encouraged, not because of our own efforts, but because we know that God’s Word never returns empty. Every seed planted has the potential to produce an eternal harvest in His perfect time. Long after the microphones are silent and the crowds have dispersed, the Holy Spirit continues to work in hearts.

Pray that God will strengthen believers living in Northern Nigeria, giving them wisdom, courage, and grace to shine as lights in their communities.
Pray for continued protection over our mission team as we carry the Gospel into places where Christ is seldom proclaimed publicly.
Finally, pray that the Lord of the harvest will continue to open doors for peaceful Gospel witness throughout Northern Nigeria and raise more faithful labourers who are willing to go wherever He sends them.
The mission continues, the fields remain ready for harvest, and our prayer is that every town, every village, and every street will one day hear the life-changing message of Jesus Christ.
